If you're planning on purchasing a new stringed musical instrument, or one of our special antiques, there's no better place than Reider's Violin House in Wyomissing, and Lancaster, PA. You can choose from our many existing instruments or have us make an instrument specifically for you from scratch.

We can make Violins, Violas, and Cellos, as well as have Bass, and Bows crafted just for you. Everything is handbuilt at the highest level, to suit your individual performance needs.
Restoration and repair work
Are you having trouble with your instrument? Is your Violin, Viola, Bass or cello not sounding GREAT? With Jeffrey Reiders experience, we can help you with your performance needs. You can also have us restore antique stringed instruments, to bring them back to wonderful sounding gem's.
Experienced, Master luthier
Jeff, who is a luthier (one who makes and restores violins), an archetier (one who makes, and restores bows) and master craftsman, comes from a music, and woodworking background, and has been in this field for over 25 years. Highly skilled with crafting wooden orchestral instruments, you can expect high-quality violins, cellos, violas, bass and other stringed musical instruments from us.
Crafting instruments is just one of our specialties. We have a large inventory, so come in and test a few out.
